McCarty is a young professional freelance artist based in Boston. They graduated Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Bachelor's Degree in Horn Performance in May 2025. There, McCarty studied under Eli Epstein, previous Second Horn of the Cleveland Orchestra. They enjoy a range of music, from classical to musical theater pit music. McCarty is passionate about a freelance and chamber music career and are interested in gender equity in the brass field.
